Brownwood High School sophomores were recognized Monday night for successfully passing the PLAN Pre-ACT test earlier this year.
The test is a comprehensive guidance resource that helps students measure their current academic development, explore career/training options, and make plans for the remaining years of high school and post-graduation years.“The ACT PLAN test is a test that we give to see if we are on the right track,” said Brownwood High School Principal Bill Faircloth. “We want every one of our students prepared for college or for the workforce.”
The 34 honorees excelled in all four sections of the ACT PLAN test including math, science, social studies, and language.
“It tells us that these students are academically college ready which is absolutely fantastic,” Faircloth said.
