Press Release – Brownwood High School’s Project Graduation is now raising funds for their annual event. In an effort to reduce the number of fund-raisers, the group is hoping to work with community businesses for sponsorships. Currently, Project Graduation is looking for 50 businesses at $100 to sponsor a “Battle of 377” t-shirt for this year.
Each sponsor will have their name printed on the backs of the shirts, showing support for Project Graduation and BHS students. Coordinators will purchase 1,000 printed shirts to sell for $15 (XXL & XXXL for an additional $2) to help Project Graduation get started on their fundraising for the 2018 Graduates.
Respond to Celeste Church here (co-president) with the name of your business along with its address and contact person. This sponsorship opportunity is limited to 50 businesses.
“Time is important as we want to have the shirts ready to sell at the first home game September 8th. First come on the sponsorship of the shirts,” said coordinator Eric Evans. “We hope to fill the stands in football/volleyball/basketball/baseball with fans wearing these shirts in support of Brownwood High School athletes.”
Other sponsored events in the coming school year include:
  • Bowling for Graduation (one $500 presenting sponsor and eight $250 prize sponsor)
  • “Brownwood’s Got Talent” – four night search for some of the greatest talent in central Texas! Event will be held at the Lyric Theatre and will possibly stream the finale live on Facebook (Presenting sponsor $1000 with four $500 Prize sponsors.)
  • 5K “TIME TO GLOW” RUN – details are still in development for this event. Sponsorships will be available as can be discussed if interested.
