Brownwood News – BHS Choir members attended their UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Contest on Tuesday, April 2 at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. The A Cappella mixed choir and Varsity Women’s choir both participated in the contest.

 

The Varsity Women’s choir received a plaque for earning all 1’s (highest rating from contest judges) during their concert portion. In addition, a Sweepstakes trophy was awarded to the A Cappella choir for also earning all 1’s from concert and sight-reading judges. “They have been working on their music and sight-reading diligently and it paid off,” said BHS Choir Director, Jennifer Reeves. “We are so proud of our outstanding students. Congratulations BHS Choir.”
