Sunday, September 2
*2:06pm – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 308 W Commerce involving a car verses motorcycle. They checked for injuries and provide first aid.
*5:53pm – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident at 4th & Coggin involving 2 vehicles Fire Crews assisted on scene.
Monday, September 3
*1:19pm – The Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 4100 block of 8th St. They arrived on scene to find that a plastic bowl had been placed on a hot burner and had set off the fire alarm. There was no danger or smoke.
Tuesday, September 4
*7:56pm – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 4300 block of Mimosa Drive. They arrived on scene to find home owner burning wood on the ground in his back yard. Fire was extinguished.
Wednesday, September 5
*2:12pm – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a lock-in on Danhill. Responded to 2 small children locked inside vehicle. Firefighters unlocked vehicle and attended to the children.
*4:55pm – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at 500 E. Baker involving 2 vehicles. No injuries reported.
*10:52pm – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of LaMonte Drive & La Vista Drive involving single vehicle striking a utility pole. Oncor was notified.
*11:01pm – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a gas leak at 1415 Ave A. They were dispatched to investigate the smell of gas. Smell was coming from a relief station in the alley.
Thursday, September 6
*5:39pm – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call at 1000 Santa Clara Drive regarding a smell of smoke. After investigating, smell was determined to be coming from a BBQ.
Friday, September 7
*9:58am – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 300 block of Bluffview Drive to an oxygen tank on fire. Fire was out upon arrival. Smoke was removed from home. Fire Marshal was notified.
*10:43am – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 1300 block of Main Street. Fuel cans in back of vehicle were on fire. Fire was extinguished.
*11:43pm – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at Belmeade & Magnolia involving single vehicle verses utility pole. Oncor was notified.
Saturday, September 8
*10:35am – Brownwood Fire Department was called to a motor vehicle accident in the 3000 block of US 377 involving 2 vehicles, one patient transported by Guardian.
*6:23pm – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched to a fire call in the 600 block of E. Depot. Firefighters responded to an alarm call, checked building and determined it to be a false alarm.
*7:49pm – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a hit and run motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Carnegie Street. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.
*10:18pm – Brownwood Fire Department was called to the report of a fire in the 2100 block of 6th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fire in the backyard of a residence which was not in an approved container. The fire was extinguished and the homeowner was advised of city codes.
