Sunday, October 17
*7:05pm-BFD responded to a call in the 2400 block of 11th Street to investigate the smell of gas. Nothing was found.
Monday, October 18
*2:05am-BFD assisted Brownwood Police Department with thermal imager to assist in search for subject in area of Avenue K & Shaw.
Wednesday, October 20
*8:21am-BFD responded to a two car motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Elizabeth Dr. and Magnolia.
Wednesday, October 21
*11:18am-BFD performed a community relations call assisting a gentleman off roof of house.
*6:26pm-BFD was called to investigate a smell of gas in the 2000 block of Austin Avenue. A gas meter had been hit and Atmos was notified.
*9:30pm-BFD responded to a fire call at Lillie Kimble and Orange Street. The incident was determined to be an outside trash/rubbish fire. On firefighters’ arrival, they found tires and logs burning. Fire Marshal was notified so that city fire codes could be enforced.
Thursday, October 22
*1:32pm-BFD responded to a two car motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the 900 block of Early Blvd.
Friday, October 23
*7:42pm-BFD reported to a motor vehicle accident on S Hwy 377. Firefighters’ arrived on scene to find a man on a bicycle had been struck by a vehicle. The patient was placed into a helicopter and transported to San Angelo.
Saturday, October 24
*3:55pm-BFD was called to a gas leak in the 1400 block of Magnolia to investigate damage and notified Atmos.
