Monday September 17th
*7:18pm: BFD fire crews were called to 2812 1st Street, the incident was determined to be heat from short circuit wiring in a lamp cord.
Wednesday September 19th
*8:25am: BFD responded to a hazardous materials call at Main and Commerce to identify hazardous materials. The substance was determined to be liquid molasses. TxDOT arrived on scene.
Thursday September 20th
*10:51am: BFD was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on County Road 291 involving a one vehicle rollover. Patients were secured in helicopters for transport to hospitals.
*8:39pm: BFD responded to a fire call on the 3700 block of County Road 234 where a structure fire was reported. Fire fighters arrived on scene to find smoke and fire coming from a window. Early and Bangs Volunteer Fire Departments also responded. The fire was extinguished.
Saturday September 22nd
*11:51am: BFD was called to a report of a gas leak on the 1000 block of La Monte. Crews arrived on scene to find a gas meter in the alley that had been struck by a vehicle. Gas was then shut off and Atmos was notified.
