Sunday, September 18
*1:20am – BFD was called to investigate an electrical problem in the 400 block of Main which was found to be a malfunctioning electric smoke alarm.
*6:09am – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Indian Creek and Horseshoe Trail. Firefighters checked for injuries & provided first aid.
Monday, September 19
*9:07pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1800 block of 12th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a stump and tree trunk burning in a back yard. The homeowner was advised of the city ordinance and the fire was extinguished.
Thursday, September 22
*4:13pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident in the 100 block of Carnegie. One patient was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Friday, September 23
*2:37am – BFD was dispatched to an alarm activation on Center Avenue, which was a false alarm.
