Monday, September 9
*7:41 AM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on Morris Sheppard Drive involving vehicle versus a school bus. Firefighters assisted loading the occupant of the vehicle into Guardian EMS ambulance.
Tuesday, September 10
*1:37 PM – BFD was dispatched to the 200 block of E. Baker regarding a child locked in vehicle. Firefighters unlocked the vehicle without incident.
Wednesday, September 11
*12:48 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1100 block of Fisk Avenue regarding an alarm activation. Nothing was found and the alarm was reset.
*12:48 PM – BFD was called to an agency assist at a location on E. Commerce which was requested by the Brownwood Police Department for a possible water rescue/search. The search was called off.*6:01 PM – BFD was called to a fire at a location on W. Commerce. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a small grass fire, which was extinguished by fire service personnel.
*6:09 PM – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident in the 600 block of County Road 233. Firefighters assisted Guardian EMS with packaging patients for transport.
Thursday, September 12
*4:23 PM – BFD was dispatched to a two vehicle accident with no injuries on Austin Avenue.
Saturday, September 14
*2:03 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1700 block of Shaw Drive near the intersection of Coggin Avenue and Shaw Drive. A brush and grass mixture was on fire. Firefighters quickly contained the fire.
*2:04 PM – BFD was dispatched to the 1000 block of Santa Clara regarding a vehicle fire. Firefighters arrived on scene to find the engine compartment of a vehicle on fire. The fire was extinguished.
