Sunday, July 15
*1:01am – BFD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 1200 block of W Hwy 67 Firefighters performed medical assessment and advance care.
*6:41pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2300 block of Main Blvd. Fire crews were responding to a telephone pole which was on fire. Upon arrival, crews found the pole had a hole through it and was leaning toward a home. The fire was extinguished and Oncor arrived on scene.
*9:15pm – BFD was called to a fire in the 8400 block of CR 237. The incident was determined to be a authorized controlled burn.
Monday, July 16
*10:58am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 600 block of W. Commerce. The incident was determined to be a cooking fire confined to container.
*10:37pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of Main Street. Fire crews checked for injuries and provided first aid.
Tuesday, July 17
*3:49pm – BFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on E. Commerce. Firefighters performed medical assessment and basic care.
* 7:39pm – BFD was called to a two-vehicle vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 1st / Ave X. Fire crews provided manpower and investigated.
Wednesday, July 18
*8:30pm – BFD was dispatched to a public assist call in the 400 block of 5th Street, where aggressive bees were reported to be in water meter.
Thursday, July 19
*11:01am – BFD responded to a fire call in the 3400 block of Durham Avenue. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a single story structure with heavy smoke coming from all sides of the house. Entry was made to do a primary search and to extinguish fire. Fire crews performed search, rescue, extinguishment, salvage and overhaul.
