Sunday, June 23
*1:53 PM – BFD responded to a lock-in at 315 E. Commerce regarding a child locked in vehicle. Firefighters unlocked vehicle and returned the child to the parent without incident.
*8:18 PM – BFD was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Coggin Avenue and 9th Street. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.
Tuesday, June 25
* BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at West Austin Avenue and Cordell.Thursday, June 27
*11:23 AM – BFD was called to the 900 block of Early Blvd. regarding gasoline leaking from a truck. A plug and patch kit was used to plug the hole. Microblaze was used on the gas spill.
*3:21 PM – BFD was dispatched to a grass fire in the 300 block of County Road 183. Fire crews arrived on scene with Bangs Volunteer Fire Department. The fire was extinguished.
