Monday, May 26
*1:23 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 300 block of Center Avenue. Firefighters responded to an alarm activation. After an investigation, nothing was found and the alarm was reset.
Tuesday, May 27
*4:06 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1500 block of Dublin. Fire crews arrived on scene to find steam rising off the roof of structure. Firefighters used ladder to access the roof for investigation. The thermal camera was also used but no fire was found.
Wednesday, May 28
*2:15 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the area of 11th Street and Avenue K. Firefighters assisted EMS with securing occupants for transport.*10:04 PM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian. Firefighters assisted with loading the pedestrian for transport by ambulance and setting up a landing zone for the helicopter which transported the pedestrian for treatment.
Sunday, June 1
*10:22 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1500 block of Vine Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find nothing showing. A resident stated that bacon cooking activated the alarm.
