Wednesday, June 19
*5:08 PM – BFD was called to a fire on FM 2525 regarding a tree reported to be on fire. The incident was determined to be an authorized controlled burn.
*5:48 PM – BFD was dispatched to the 2300 block of Main Blvd. regarding arcing power lines. Firefighters arrived to find lines tangled in the trees. Oncor was notified.
Thursday, June 20
*9:38 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 900 block of Austin Avenue. Fire crews checked for injuries and provided first aid.
*10:09 PM – BFD was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of N US Hwy 183 and County Road 339. Firefighters extricated the occupant.
Friday, June 21
* 9:33 AM – BFD was called to an alarm activation in the 4100 block of 9th Street. The incident was determined to be unintentional alarm activation.*8:40 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire in the 2500 block of Elizabeth regarding a flatbed trailer which was on fire. Upon arrival, the fire was under control by a neighbor. Fire crews joined in to help extinguish the fire. Fire was contained on trailer.
Saturday, June 22
*12:33 AM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on FM45 involving a single vehicle versus a deer.
*1:34 PM – BFD was called to in the 1200 block of US Hwy 67 regarding a dumpster that was on fire. Upon arrival a small fire in a roadside trash can was found and extinguished.
*2:35 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire in the 4100 block of River Oaks Drive to investigate smoke in the area. The incident was determined to be smoke from a tar kettle.
