Sunday, May 22

*9:13am – BFD responded to a fire call in the area of Austin Ave and FM 2126.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a small controlled burn.  All units cleared.

*12:07pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 2400 block of Belle Plain.

*12:17pm – BFD was dispatched to a grass fire on Longhorn Lane.  Firefighters assisted with extinguishment of fire.

*6:08pm – BFD responded to a fire call in the 4400 block of McArthur Circle.  The incident was determined to be an unintentional smoke detector activation.

Monday, May 23

*3:46pm – BFD was called to assist with a brush fire in the 100 block of Bonnie Avenue in Early, TX.  Fire crews arrived on scene to assist with the extinguishment of a small grass/brush fire.

Tuesday, May 24

*12:12pm – BFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 15th Street and Avenue B involving two vehicles.  Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

*2:20pm – BFD responded to a brush fire on CR 264.  Crews arrived on scene to find an approximately 75 acre grass fire.

Thursday, May 26

*5:26pm – BFD was called to a brush fire in the 2800 block of Morris Sheppard which was caused by a power line.  The fire was extinguished and Oncor was notified.

Friday, May 27

*2:00am – BFD was dispatched to a brush fire on CR 264 which was a re-kindle of the previous fire.

*7:20am – BFD responded to a brush fire on CR 264.  Firefighters were checking status of the previous fire.

*12:45pm – BFD responded to a brush fire on CR 264 which was another re-kindle of the previous fire.

*3:23pm – BFD was called to a motor vehicle accident at 311 Commerce which involved two vehicles with minor injuries.

* 3:52pm – BFD was dispatched to a brush fire on CR 264 which was another re-kindle of previous fire.

Saturday, May 28

*6:44am – BFD was called to a fire in the 3900 block of Crestridge.

*8:47am – BFD responded to a citizen’s complaint in the 2800 block of Cleburne.  A woman reported being attacked by bees while mowing.

*1:26pm – BFD received a public service call at 401 W. Commerce.  Firefighters unlocked a vehicle with a child inside.

*4:03pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Austin Avenue and Fisk involving two vehicles. One patient was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
