Monday, May 19
*11:26 AM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 800 block of West Commerce. The collision involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
Tuesday, May 20
*5:28 PM – BFD was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at 10th Street and Avenue B.
Wednesday, May 21
*10:34 AM – BFD was called to the 4100 block of 8th Street regarding responded to an alarm activation. Fire crews found nothing showing upon arrival. Remodeling caused alarm to be activated and there was no fire.
*12:56 PM – BFD responded to a fire call in the 200 block of West Commerce regarding the smell of smoke in a store. Firefighters investigated and nothing was found.5:24 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 100 block of Parkview. Fire crews arrived on scene to find power lines arcing in the trees. Oncor was notified.
Thursday, May 22
*10:24 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the area of Avenue A and 2nd Street, regarding a fire in a backyard. Firefighters searched the area but nothing was found.
Saturday, May 24
*12:44 AM – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident on Oakpark Drive. The vehicle had struck a tree and a utility pole; however, there were no injuries. Firefighters stood by until power lines were removed.
*10:00 PM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at Coggin Avenue and 9th Street involving a single vehicle striking a utility pole. There were no injuries. Oncor was notified and disconnected power lines.
Sunday, May 25
*1:54 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 2700 block of Pheasant Grove. Firefighters arrived on scene to find the occupant had burned food and alarm was activated.
