Reports released for the week of May 15th through May 21th from the Brownwood Fire Department indicate responses to 19 medical emergencies, 3 motor vehicle accidents, 4 fire calls, 1 hazardous material call and 1 false alarm.

Sunday, May 15
*1:19pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue which involved a single motorcycle. The patient was loaded into Guardian EMS ambulance and transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
*5:24pm – BFD responded to a one vehicle accident on FM 2125. The patient was loaded into Guardian EMS ambulance and transported to BRMC.
*5:34pm – BFD was called to a fire in the 1000 block of Santa Clara. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small pile of leaves burning. The occupant was advised of City burning codes and the fire was extinguished.
Monday, May 16
*2:50pm – BFP was dispatched to a fire in the 9300 block of FM 45 to assist with a controlled burn.
Tuesday, May 17
*4:55am – BFD was called to a fire at 605 E. Depot which was a false alarm. Fire crews reset the alarm.
Wednesday, May 18
*2:55pm – BFD was called to a single motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of Carnegie. The patient was loaded into Guardian EMS ambulance and transported to BRMC.
*4:48pm – BFD responded to a fire call in the 900 block of W. Hall Street in Bangs, TX. Fire crews arrived on scene to assist Bangs VFD.
Thursday, May 19
*1:29pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 8900 block of CR 562. Firefighters arrived on scene to assist Lake Bridge VFD with a structure fire.
*2:03pm – BFD was responded to a hazardous material call on Drisco Drive to investigate a leak on a carbon dioxide truck. The truck was found to be performing properly.
