*6:18 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of 4th Street and Avenue K.
Tuesday, May 6
*3:02 PM – BFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident.
*4:14 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 300 block of W. Commerce. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small smoldering fire in some tree debris. The fire was extinguished.
*4:19 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 3100 block of Austin Avenue.
Wednesday, May 7
*1:38 PM- BFD was dispatched to a downed power line in the 2300 block of Austin Avenue. Fire crews arrived on scene to find power lines down. Firefighters assisted with traffic control.Saturday, May 10
*7:52 AM – BFD responded to a single-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1300 block of Phillips Drive.
*10:37 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the area of 11th Street and Avenue B where a tree limb fell on power line. Oncor was notified.
Sunday, May 11
*2:55 AM – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a single vehicle striking a utility pole in the 1600 block of Indian Creek. There were no injuries.
*4:10 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 2600 block of El Paso. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fence post smoldering. Firefighters soaked the post and ground area nearby.
*5:04 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1100 block of 14th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a wire separated from the fuse on a power pole. Oncor was notified.
*6:10 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire in the 1600 block of Calvert. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a small grass/brush fire. Fire spread was controlled, then the fire and hot spots were extinguished.
