*10:33 AM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of Austin Avenue and Avenue K.

*7:30 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 100 block of Broadmoor Drive.  According to the report, it was discovered that a hallway fire alarm had an accidental activation and there was no fire.

Monday, March 31

*9:38 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 2500 block of Morris Sheppard Drive.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a false alarm. A stand pipe sensor had activated itself.

Tuesday, April 1

*8:47 AM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the area of North Fisk and South Broadway.

*9:07 PM – BFD was dispatched to a hazardous materials call in the 2700 block of Pheasant Grove regarding a gas line which was struck by workers digging.  Atmos was notified.

Wednesday, April 2

*7:28 AM – BFD was dispatched to a structure fire in the 1400 block of Campa Drive.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find nothing showing. Residents advised there was electrical sparking in the kitchen.  Firefighters used thermal camera in the attic but did not find anything. The homeowner was advised to contact an electrician.

Thursday, April 3

*9:14 AM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at Crockett Drive.

*4:54 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 3600 block of Stephen F Austin.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a very small grass fire.  The fire was put out and checked for hot spots.

Friday, April 4

*3:31 PM – BFD was called to a public assist in the 300 block of Commerce regarding children that were inside a locked vehicle.  Firefighters quickly unlocked the vehicle.

Saturday, April 5

*11:41 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 100 block of Broadmoor regarding a smoke alarm activation. The smoke was determined to be from burned food in a microwave.
