Sunday, April 14
*3:40 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a Haz-Mat call in Brownwood. Carbon Monoxide detector activated. Arrived on scene and advised the family to exit the residence while Firefighters check the residence. Nothing was found.
5:28 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 2300 block of Belmeade St. Responded to a call of a fire in the garage. Arrived on scene to find fire coming from garage and all occupants out of the home. Fire was extinguished. Salvage and overhaul began.
Monday, April 15
*6:03 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 2500 block of Brady Ave. Arrived on scene to find a small rubbish fire in back yard. Fire was extinguished without incident.
Wednesday, April 17
*8:37 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at Anderson & Carnegie. Firefighters assisted with loading of patients into Guardian for transport.
*8:55 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 1000 block of Riverside Drive. They were dispatched to report of smoke inside the building. Attic was checked with thermal camera. A breaker was found to be tripped. No fire or extension was found.
Thursday, April 18
*1:43 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 401 W Commerce involving 2 vehicles with no injuries.
Saturday, April 20
*5:22 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call on Spring Hollow. They were dispatched to investigate smell of smoke. Incident was determined to be burned plug/outlet. Breaker was turned off.
*4:40 PM – The Brownwood Fire Department performed a public assist in the 1100 block of La Monte Dr. Incident was an animal rescue. A kitten was trapped inside the wall of residence. Thermal camera was used to locate kitten and siding was removed to retrieve the kitten. Kitten was returned unharmed.
