Sunday, April 8
*9:01am – BFD responded to a fire call in the area of 14th Street and Stephen F. Austin. Crews arrived to find a brush fire. The occupant was notified of city burn codes.
*9:01pm – BFD was called to a fire at 1050 W. Commerce, the Law Enforcement Center. Fire fighters arrived to find a smoke alarm activated and nothing showing. Upon investigation it was determined that a prisoner had thrown baby powder into the smoke detector.
Monday, April 9
*7:47pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 700 block of W. Commerce. Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a pickup on a trailer on fire. The fire was extinguished.
Wednesday, April 11
*8:40pm – BFD responded to a brush fire in the 5000 block of FM 2126. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a controlled burn.
Friday, April 13
*9:50am – BFD was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue.
