Monday, March 25
*1:23 AM – BFD responded to a hazardous materials call in the 4400 block of Westridge Drive regarding a propane smell inside of a residence. Firefighters removed a propane cylinder from the residence.
*6:03 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1800 block of 9th Street. Firefighters arrived on scene and determined the incident to be unintentional alarm activation.
Wednesday, March 27
*7:01 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1700 block of Coggin Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find the alarm system was accidentally activated; the incident was a false alarm.*9:30 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 300 block of Pecos Street. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a small storage building on fire. The walls of storage building were pushed over and all hot spots were put out, then the area was checked with the thermal camera and no other hot spots were found.
Friday, March 29
*7:12 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 1900 block of 7th Street. Firefighters responded to the call of a fire alarm and arrived on scene to find nothing showing. The alarm was determined to have been caused by something burned in the oven and there was no fire.
