Sunday, February 24

*4:06 AM – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident on US Hwy 67W.  Patient was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

*4:17 AM – BFD was dispatched to a hazardous materials call in the 2800 block of Southside Drive.  The incident was determined to be a gas leak.

*3:21 PM – BFD was called to the 3900 block of Crestridge Drive regarding a downed power line.

Monday, February 25

*6:58 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 300 block of Main Street regarding an arcing transformer.  Upon fire crews’ arrival no arcing was visible; however oil was leaking from transformer.

*10:51 PM – BFD was called to the 4000 block of 4th Street regarding a downed power line.  The line was later determined to be TV cables that had tree limbs in them.

Wednesday, February 27

*10:01 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire on County Road 498.  Firefighters were responding to the report of a small grass fire which was threatening a nearby structure.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find small logs burning in a field.

*10:29 PM – BFD was called to a fire in the 3300 block of 1st Street.  Firefighters responded to a call of a carbon dioxide alarm activation. A gas monitor was used and high levels of CO2 were detected.  The gas was shut off and residents were advised to spend the night elsewhere.

*11:52 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1100 block of Fisk Avenue regarding a general fire alarm activation.  Firefighters investigated and then reset the alarm.

Thursday, February 28

*10:34 AM – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident in the 600 block of Main Street.  Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

*3:20 PM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1800 block of Vincent Street.  Fire crews responded to the report of a smoke detector activation.  The home was checked with a thermal camera and nothing was found.

Saturday, March 2

*8:58 AM – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries at 10th Street and Avenue B.
