Wednesday, February 5
*5:48 PM – Motor vehicle accident in the 7500 Block of Hwy N 279 involving 2 vehicles. Firefighters responded to assist Lake Bridge VFD with extrication of occupant from vehicle. Firefighters assisted other occupants in vehicles and requested Air Evac to respond.
Friday, February 7
*2:46 PM – Motor vehicle accident in the 700 block of Coggin Ave involving 2 vehicles with no injuries.
Saturday, February 8
*6:24 PM – Fire call in the 7000 block of CR 234. Arrived on scene to find a small trash pit fire that had spread involving 1/2 acre of grass.
*9:18 PM – Fire call at 1803 Durham Ave. Arrived on scene to find a single story wood frame structure with heavy fire and smoke. Fire fighters began extinguishment of fire.
Sunday, February 9
*7:34 PM – Fire call in the 300 block of Bluffview arrived on scene to find a dumpster burning. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
*8:47 PM – Public assist 103 Market Place Blvd. Responded to a call of elevator door stuck. Firefighters were able to open the door and assist the 3 occupants.
*11:40 PM – Fire call in the 9200 block of CR 232 requested by Brookesmith VFD to assist with smoke in a house. Thermal imaging camera was used to find source of smoke. The A/C unit motor had locked up causing smoke.
