Reports released for the week of December 26th through January 1st from the Brownwood Fire Department indicate responses to 18 medical emergencies, 3 motor vehicle accidents, 4 fire calls, 1 false alarm and 2 gas leak/carbon monoxide calls.

December 26
*2:12pm-BFD responded to a two vehicle accident on 15th Street. One patient was transported by Guardian.
December 27
*2:39pm- BFD was dispatched to a large dumpster fire. The fire was extinguished, no damage was present.
December 28
*3:10pm- BFD was called to a two vehicle accident with minor injuries at the Austin Ave and Fisk Street intersection.
*11:30pm- BFD responded to a downed power line.
December 29
*1:58pm-BFD was dispatched to the 2400 block of Vine regarding an outside rubbish fire. Crews extinguished the fire.
December 30
*6:14pm- BFD was called to the 1700 block of Avenue A regarding an outside rubbish fire.
December 31
*8:08am- BFD responded to a two vehicle accident with no injuries at 1st Street & Avenue D.
*11:49am-BFD was dispatched to a hazardous material call at 1500 Terrace Drive. Fire crews arrived to investigate carbon monoxide in the residence. The carbon monoxide “sniffer” was used however nothing was detected.
