Sunday, December 9

*7:56 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a Haz-mat call in the 1600 block of 2nd Street  for arcing power lines.  Oncor was notified and Fire Crews remained on scene until their arrival.

Monday, December 10

*2:43 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a grass fire at County Road 267. Arrived on scene to find 1/4 acre fire smoldering.  Firefighters put fire out.

Tuesday, December 11

*7:37 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 500 block of Hall Street. They arrived on scene with smoke in the building.  Thermal imager was used to search store and on roof, unable to find anything.

*9:41 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a haz-mat call on Fisk Ave  where a power line was down.  Firefighters used support wire to keep out of road way.

Wednesday, December 12

*8:22 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 400 block of W. Commerce in the Wal-Mart parking lot involving 2 vehicles.  Occupants loaded in Guardian

*4:41 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 2000 block of 7th Street. They arrived on scene to find smoke in the house from cooking. Alarm system was clear and smoke was removed.

Thursday, December 13

*11:29 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on 586 for mutual aid with Bangs VFD for a one vehicle rollover with entrapment. Patient was extricated and loaded in ambulance.

Friday, December 14

*12:19 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a water leak in the 2800 block of Southside Drive. They arrived on scene to find water dripping from ceiling.  No hazard discovered.  Occupants overflowed the toilet.

*1:07 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a haz-mat call in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive for a transformer on fire.  Upon arrival, no visible damage or burn marks to the pole were found.

*9:10 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the  500 block of E Commerce for a fire alarm activation. It was discovered to be a loose connection at the pull station.

Saturday, December 15

*5:08 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 2300 block of Highway S 377.  They arrived to find small area of grass in rear lot of business where fire had been extinguished before units arrived. Firefighters made sure all fire and embers were extinguished.

*5:22 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway E 377 for a 1 vehicle rollover with entrapment. Firefighters assisted Early VFD with extrication. Patient was loaded with Guardian for transport.

*6:59 PM – Brownwood Police Department responded toa motor vehicle accident on Highway N 183 to assist Early VFD with a 2 vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue tools were used to extricate the occupant and loaded into Ambulance.
