BFDlogoSmallReports released for the week of December 5th through December 11th from the Brownwood Fire Department indicate responses to 18 medical emergencies, 5 motor vehicle accidents, and 5 fire calls.

Monday, December 6

*6:05pm-BFD responded to an unattended trash fire in the 1200 block of Hall.  Brownwood Police were on the scene and requested the fire be put out.

*4:20pm-BFD was called to a dumpster/trash fire in the 2000 block of 6th St.  Fire was out upon arrival.

Tuesday, December 7

*10:32am-BFD responded to a structure fire in the 3500 block of County Road 592 to assist the Early VFD.   Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke at the structure and the fire was contained in the attic and extinguished.

*11:15am-BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Crocket Drive and Southpark Drive involving an ambulance and another vehicle.  Minor injuries were reported.

Wednesday, December 8

*3:02pm – BFD responded to a rubbish/trash fire in the 2300 block of County Road 135.  A citation was issued to a subject for illegal burning during a burn ban.

Thursday, December 9

*5:03pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Austin Avenue and Main Street.  Two vehicles were involved with injuries.  One subject was transported by Guardian EMS.

Friday, December 10

*12:17pm – BFD responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of Avenue D.  Firefighters found a single story wood frame structure with light smoke coming from the attic and extinguished the fire.

*4:01pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident at 100 Park Road 15 with major injuries.  One vehicle was involved.  One patient was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center by Guardian EMS and another was transported by critical air.

Saturday, December 11

*10:18pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on County Road 134 with no injuries.  One vehicle rollover with occupants was found at the scene.
