Monday, January 13
*6:11 PM – Brownwood Fire Department was dispatched for a Haz-Mat call in the 1700 block of Ave L to investigate smell of natural gas. Firefighters investigated a home and Atmos arrived on scene.
Tuesday, January 14
*6:30 PM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to a fire call in the 2200 block of Durham. Arrived on scene to find residents were using an approved Bar-b-q pit.
Wednesday, January 15
*11:55 AM – Brownwood Fire Department responded to the 800 block of Commerce St. for a fire call. They arrived on scene to find occupants complaining of a smell of smoke. Firefighters checked the area and found the business next door had burned a small amount of trash. Owner of business was informed of city ordinance and the remainder of trash was put out.
