BFDlogoSmallReports released for the week of January 9th through January 15th from the Brownwood Fire Department indicate responses to 22 medical emergencies, 2 motor vehicle accidents, 1 vehicle fire, 5 fire calls, and 5 false alarms.

Monday, January 10

*10:04 AM- BFD responded to a call of smoke in area of Walnut Street.  Upon arrival, nothing was found.

Tuesday, January 11

*3:00pm- BFD was called to the 2300 block of Main Blvd.   Firefighters arrived to find a single story structure showing fire.  The fire was quickly brought under control.

Wednesday, January 12

*1:12pm- BFD was dispatched to a sprinkler activation alarm; however on arrival there was no fire.

*7:49pm-BFD responded to a two vehicle accident at Early Blvd and C. C. Woodson. Occupants were transported to BRMC by Guardian.

*8:00pm- BFD was called to a vehicle fire on FM 45.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find a compact car fully involved and all occupants out of vehicle. The fire was extinguished by firefighters.

Thursday, January 13

*12:59pm- BFD was dispatched to a stove fire in the 300 block of Bluffview Drive.  Firefighters arrived and found only smoke in the apartment which they removed.

*4:46pm- BFD responded to a one vehicle accident in the 9000 block of N US 183.  Occupant was transported to BRMC.

Saturday, January 15

*11:30am- BFD was called to the 2400 block of Crockett Drive regarding a fire alarm that had activated; however, it was discovered to be a false alarm.

*2:22pm- BFD was responded to another fire call at the same address in the 2400 block of Crockett Drive.   The fire alarm was activated but found to be a false alarm with nothing showing.

*7:46pm- BFD responded to a fire call in the 1200 block of Hall Street regarding an outside rubbish fire. Firefighters informed residents of city codes for burning inside city limits.  The fire was extinguished.

*8:20pm- BFD was called to a dumpster on fire in the alley of the 2200 block of Elizabeth Drive.  The fire was extinguished.
