Sunday, November 13

*1:40am – BFD was called to an incident at the 500 block of Main Street which was determined to be a mischievous false call.

*8:45am – BFD was dispatched to the 100 block of Melwood Avenue to check carbon monoxide detector.  It was determined that the batteries needed to be replaced.

Monday, November 14

*6:45pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident in the 300 block of W. Commerce. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

 

Tuesday, November 15

*12:02am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1700 block of Woodridge Drive regarding shorted electrical equipment with report of a smoke smell inside residence. Upon arrival, all occupants were out of the residence and the garage had light smoke showing. Firefighters made entry to garage to investigate further with thermal camera.  Heavy smoke and smoldering was found. Firefighters watered down hot spots, then salvage and over haul were started.

*11:50am – BFD responded to a lock-in at 401 W. Commerce.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small child locked inside a vehicle.  A firefighter unlocked the door and checked on the child.

* 12:14pm – BFD dispatched to a hazardous materials call on Melwood Avenue.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find approximately 5 gallons of diesel spilled on street.

*4:49pm – BFD responded to a motor vehicle accident on FM 2525 which involved a 4 wheeler.  Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

Wednesday, November 16

*3:52pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Austin Avenue and Main Street. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

*6:52pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident at the area of Austin Avenue and Magnolia. Firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid.

Thursday, November 17

 

*9:49am – BFD was dispatched to a lock-in at the 2200 block of Avenue C.  Fire crews responded to an 18-month-old locked in a car. Firefighters unlocked vehicle.

Friday, November 18

*5:06amBFD responded to a one vehicle accident in the 1700 block of 10th Street.   Firefighters were dispatched to the report of a vehicle vs. pole.   According to the report, the driver fled the scene on foot.

Saturday, November 19

*12:32am – BFD was called to the 2800 block Morris Sheppard regarding a motor vehicle accident.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a utility pole that had been hit and broken; however, there was no vehicle or patient on scene.
