Sunday, November 4

*2:47pm – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 400 block of W. Commerce. Firefighters arrived on scene to find one patient being transported. Fire crews used rescue tools to extricate an occupant from the vehicle and assist Guardian EMS with loading of the patient.

Monday, November 5

*11:01am – BFD was dispatched to a bomb threat at 204 E Commerce Street, McDonald’s. All units responded to the bomb threat and after an investigation, nothing was found.

Wednesday, November 7

*2:35pm – BFD was called to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of Center Avenue and Lee Street.

Friday, November 9

*5:03am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 900 block of Austin Avenue regarding a fire burning under a bridge.  Firefighters found a small fire burning under the bridge with a male subject lying on ground trying to keep warm.

*3:28pm – BFD was called to a structure fire in the 2900 block of Franke Street.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find the structure, vehicle, and outbuilding on fire with heavy smoke.  The fire was extinguished.

*4:13pm – BFD was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries in the 6000 block of FM 45.

*11:06pm – BFD responded to a fire call in the 700 block of Oak Street.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find 2 open fires in the back yard of a residence.  The homeowners were advised they could not have open fires in city limits and the fires were extinguished.
