Monday, October 24
*1:51pm – BFD responded to the call of a child locked in a vehicle in the 2500 block of Crockett Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene to find an infant that had been locked in a car. Firefighters unlocked the vehicle and cleared the scene.
Thursday, October 27
*10:36am – BFD was called to a two vehicle accident at 4th Street & Avenue H. Fire crews checked for injuries and provided first aid.
*5:13pm – BFD was dispatched to a single vehicle accident at 500 E Commerce. Firefighters arrived on scene to find vehicle on its side in the parking lot of the business. Fire crews checked for injuries and provided first aid.
Friday, October 28
*12:59am – BFD was called in reference to a fire alarm at a residence on Sherman Drive. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a brick structure with nothing showing. Firefighters noticed light smoke and a smell of lint burning from central heating system. The home was searched with a thermal camera and nothing was found. Smoke alarms were stopped and units cleared the scene.
*9:09am – BFD was dispatched to a fire alarm in the 100 block of Market Place Blvd. Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in breakfast area where burnt toast found. Firefighters cleared the smoke.
October 29
*12:08pm – BFD responded to a two vehicle accident on Belle Plain Avenue & Romine Street. Firefighters checked for injuries.
