Monday, September 24

*1:58am – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1400 block of Brady Avenue regarding the smell of gas.  Firefighters arrived to find a slight odor around the distribution meter.  Atmos was notified.

*10:12pm – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident in the 2600 block of Elizabeth Drive.  Firefighters extricated the victim from vehicle and assisted with establishing a landing zone for Air Evac.

Tuesday, September 25

*4:16pm – BFD was called to the 1700 block of Avenue L regarding a transformer which had blown.  Firefighters notified Oncor and killed the power.

*4:44pm – BFD was called to a fire in the 5000 block of US Hwy 183S.  Fire crews arrived on scene with Early VFD to an approximately 4 acre grass fire where multiple structures were threatened.  The Brownwood fire marshal was on scene investigating cause of fire.

Wednesday, September 26

*8: 03pm – BFD was dispatched on a fire call in the 2700 block of Memorial Park.  The incident was determined to be unintentional alarm activation.

Thursday, September 27

*7:32am – BFD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on N Hwy 183, just north of Owens.  Firefighters assisted with medical care and loading patients into Air Evac and Native Air helicopters for transport.

Saturday, September 29

*8:55am – BFD was called to a fire in the 2600 block of Southside Drive.  The incident was determined to be unintentional alarm activation.

*3:02pm – BFD was dispatched to a public assist call in the 1500 of Main Blvd. Upon arrival, it was determined incident was a police department matter.

*3:55pm – BFD was called to a fire in the 4400 block of McArthur Circle.  Food cooking in the kitchen activated the alarm. No fire was found.
