Sunday, July 22

*9:34am – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident on FM 585 involving one occupant who was ejected.  The patient was loaded with Guardian EMS.

Monday, July 23

*8:10pm – BFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Belle Plain Street.

Monday, July 24

*12:42pm – BFD was called to a grass fire on CR 228.  Firefighters found two areas that had burned but were only smoldering upon their arrival.  Extinguishment of these areas was performed by fire personnel.

Tuesday, July 25

*9:53am – BFD was dispatched to a hazardous materials call in the 200 block of Baker Street.  Fire crews were responding to a call regarding the smell of gas.  After investigating, nothing was found.

*11:41am – BFD was called to a fire in the 300 block of Torres Lane.  They were dispatched for mutual aid on a grassfires in which structures were being threatened.  The fire was quickly contained.

*2:47pm – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 100 block of Fisk Avenue.  Firefighters responded to the smell of smoke in building. During an investigation, a smoldering ash tray was discovered.

*10:01pm – BFD was called to a fire in the 2000 block of Main Blvd.  The incident was determined to be arcing electrical equipment.

Wednesday, July 26

*3:49pm- BFD responded to a hazardous materials call in the 900 block of Vine regarding the smell of gasoline in the area.  After investigation, the smell appeared to be from the wooden bridge which is over the underpass.

Thursday, July 27

*4:30pm – BFD was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Austin & Coggin Avenues.  None of the occupants were transported to the hospital.

*6:20pm – BFD was called to a grass fire along FM 45, south of Brownwood.  Firefighters arrived on scene to find a small grass fire with a power line down. The power company was notified. Firefighters were also advised that a 2nd fire was located just down the road.  Both fires were extinguished.
