Bevalene Russelle “Rusty” Burkeen passed away after a long illness on October 4, 2017. Per her wishes, she will be cremated under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home. The family will celebrate her life at a later date.
Bevalene Nance was born February 12, 1958 in Blackwater, Oklahoma to Russell Lyndon and Jackie LaVerne (Duncan) Nance. She loved to play Bingo, her friends on Facebook and her dog, “Brandi”.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Heather Olinger, brothers Robert Nance and James Nance; sisters Lynda Bible and Wynonna Yvette Pruett; grandchildren, Scotty “Hobie” Lee Olinger, Staci Necoal Duncan, and Lexi Paige Olinger; three great grandchildren (plus one on the way!); and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie LaVerne Duncan; son, Michael Paul Shaffer and grandson Malachi David Olinger.
