Betty Sue Qualls went to be with her Lord September 9, 2014. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ruben Packer officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.
Betty was born July 25, 1935 in Brownwood to Mattie (Jones) and Henry James. She attended Early schools and graduated from Howard Payne College. She worked for the State of Texas for 30 years; and after her retirement was the “pest control lady” for another 20 years. She was known for her little white truck, her dog and her hat. Betty loved every one of her customers; they were her life.
Those left behind to cherish her memories include two daughters, Rhonda and Ricky Simpson of Zephyr and Pamela Q. Beene from Brownwood; one brother, Jearl James from Garland; two sisters, Jean Wyatt of Garland and Madelene Davis of Arkansas, as well as nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents, two brothers and a sister.
