Betty Corley, age 79, of Brownwood, TX passed away Wednesday June 23, 2010 in Bryan, TX. Memorial services will be held at 3:00pm Wednesday June 30, 2010, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.
Betty was born July 11, 1930 in Sulfur Springs, Texas to Sydney and Thelma Long. She was raised in Brownwood, lived in Ft. Worth for thirty years, and returned to Brownwood in 1980. Betty worked part time at Mama’s Market in Brownwood for twelve years.
Betty was preceded in death by her ex-husband Aubrey Horton Corley and her brother Dell Wayne Long.
Survivors include her four children; Tresa Diane King and husband Paul, Cynthia Joe Corley, Samuel E. H. Corley, Timothy James Corley, three grandchildren; Jason Michael King and wife Dollie, Jodie Marie LeBlanc and husband Ty, and Jennifer Joe Cutler and husband Jacob, four great-grandchildren, two brothers; Dennis E. Long and Frank J. Long, and four sisters; Annie Jean Carlisle, Juanita Mills, Justine White, and Carmon Peteross.
