Funeral services for Betty Brightwell Hale age 79, will be at 10:00 AM Saturday May 4, 2013 in the Heartland Funeral Chapel Early, Texas. Interment will follow at Macedonia/Weeden Cemetery.
She passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 in Brownwood, Texas. Betty was born November 6, 1933 in Desdemona, Texas to Odie and Minnie Jones Brightwell. She married her high school sweetheart Gerald Hale on November 6, 1949.
She was an assistant manager of TG&Y in Denver City, Texas. Betty was an outstanding cook, loved to sew and do ceramics. She is survived by four daughter; Shirley and Larry York of Sierra Vista, Az., Kay Harris of Abilene, Vickie and Jack McCombs of De Leon, and Kathy and Dennis Kelly of Brownwood. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by husband of 55 years in September of 2006, her parents, three brothers and one great-grand daughter.
