Colt Bertrand, left, a senior at Brownwood High School, has been selected by the faculty and administration as the October Student of the Month for the Brownwood Rotary Club. He is shown with club President Dion White.
Colt is active in the National Honor Society and Choices mentoring organization. He is quarterback of the football team, a sport he starting playing in fourth grade, and is also on the golf, track and basketball teams.
He was elected to the House of Representatives at Boys State last year, and was named All-Academic District Team in golf. He plans to study business administration at Texas A&M University.
