Memorial services for Jesse Bertran Cragg III, 58, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 8 at Brownwood Nursing & Rehab Center. He passed away Friday July 4, 2014 after an unexpected incident. Cremation is under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home.
Bert was born at Fort Sam Houston, Texas on June 24, 1956 to Jesse Bertran Cragg Jr and Delta Jane White Cragg. He was raised by his mother and step father, Johnny Richardson. He was a 1976 graduate of Brownwood High School. He worked for years as a brick mason with his step father whom he always called daddy. He also worked at Aldersgate Enrichment Center.
Bert was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by two sons Clifton Netherton, and wife Debbie and Christopher Cragg; three daughters Brandi Cragg; Mary Huff and husband Casey; and Jessica Netherton; four sisters Joni Wallace and husband Jerry; Mary Bridwell and husband Mike; Angela Wills and husband Stacey; Claudia Appelt and husband Mark of Brenham, eleven grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister and one great, great niece.
