Benny Paul Maxwell, age 60, of Brownwood, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in Cross Country Healthcare Center, where he had been a resident for the past six years.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
Benny was born on December 16, 1953 in Rising Star to Paul and Johnnie Maxwell. He graduated from Rising Star High School as Valedictorian of the Class of 1974. He attended Texas Tech University for two years before moving to Brownwood in 1982. Benny was a courageous Christian man who possessed much integrity.He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may make memorials to the Texas Association for Mental Illness.
