BradenSummersFriends of Braden Summers and his family will host a benefit tonight, Friday, January 23rd, at the Early High School during the Early vs. Bangs basketball games.  A fundraiser supper will be offered that consists of pulled pork sandwiches, chips and a drink from 5 p.m. until the meals are sold out.  Plates are $6 each or 2 for $10.

Early High School students are selling tickets to the dinner in advance or tickets may be bought at the door as well.  A drive-up area will be set up outside as well as inside dining.  If you cannot make it to the benefit, donations are being accepted.  Please contact Teresa Cooley at 325-647-5355 or Kent Hawthorne at 903-243-4581 or visit any Mills County State Bank branch and ask for the “Benefit Savings Account for Braden Summers.”

Braden is a 13-year-old student at Early Middle School, and is the son of Ricky and Kelley Summers and the brother of Taylor Summers.  He has been in ICU at Cook’s Hospital for over a month fighting a severe form of pneumonia. Funds raised from the benefit will help the family with medical and travel expenses.

Organizers ask the public to please come to the benefit and support the Summers family tonight at Early High School.
