A graveside funeral service for Belva Jordan, age 85, of Brownwood, will be at 2:00PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the Monahans Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00. Heartland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Jordan died Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Brownwood.
Belva Jeanette Harris Jordan was born on August 16, 1931 in Sweetwater to Covel and Minnie (Spurlock) Harris.
Belva is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Adams of Brownwood and a son, Dennis Gene Jordan, II of Odessa; two grandchildren, Michael Adams and Michelle Adams.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Putman; a sister, Daphine Pratt; three brothers, Marion, Weldon and J.C. Harris.
