Meeting of the Board of Directors

To Discuss, Consider, Advise and\or Take Formal Action in the Following Items:

Meeting Agenda

1.            Call to Order;

2.            Pledge of Allegiance;

3.            Invocation;

4.            Approval of Minutes of meeting held in July 14, 2015;

5.            Approval of claims and accounts report;

6.            Approval of investment and financial reports;

7.            Citizens Presentations: Any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on agenda may do so at this time.  The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item.  To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board,  each person submit a citizens presentation form located at the  entrance lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation.  All presentations are limited to five (5) minutes time limit;

8.            Consider approval of amendments to the District’s 2014/2015 fiscal year budget in a total amount of $25,000;

9.            District’s Legal Counsel shall administer Oath of Office to lake patrolman, Kelly Marsh, and execute corresponding documents;

10.          Approve hiring of independent auditor for the District’s 2014/2015 fiscal year audit;

11.          Revisit, discuss and take necessary action regarding previous request from Seth Thomason with Echo Wireless for an agreement for the placement of a communications tower at lake patrol bldg;

12.          Hear update on request from Dam Volunteer Fire Department regarding a lease agreement with the District;

13.          Review land appraisal report and approve redetermination of annual rental rate for lots 21 & 21A at Peninsula Subdivision currently lease by Don Dillard;

14.          Approval of Consent to Mortgage, Pledge or Hypothecation of Lease for lots 24 & 24A at Peninsula Subdivision currently lease by Michael J. Hayes and wife, Rebecca A. Hayes;

15.          Discuss and take necessary action regarding request from Mike Homer with the Texas   Parks & Wildlife Department regarding placing fish habitat structures in Lake Brownwood;

16.          Hear presentation from Collier Consulting on study of Trinity Aquifer and take necessary action;

17.          Discuss and take necessary action regarding wake surfing on Lake Brownwood;

18.          Hear General Manager report regarding current events, projects and lake conditions;

19.          Adjournment.
