The Lady Lions win big against San Angelo Lake View on Friday while the Lions took a hit at home.
The Lady Lions took on 4A Lake View running with a big lead and never looking back. Brownwood won the game 53-25.
Brownwood scorers were Sara Byrd 10 points, Hannah Mask 10 points, Trinity Ansons 12 points, Patricia Wilson 4 points, Amanda Gober 4 points, Tiara Brown 2 points, Kelsey Gober 6 points , and Mallorie Maxwell 5 points.
The Lady Lions are scheduled to play in the Gatesville Tournament on December 28-30th.
The Lions had a rougher time in their game against Abilene Cooper on Friday night at home taking the loss with a score of 54-39.
Brownwood scorers were Brown 15 points, Ballejo 3 points, Jefferson 9 points, Cotton 6 points, Longoria 4 points, and Barnes 2 points.
The Lions will take on Burnet at home on January 2nd.
