The Brownwood Loins Basketball team faced off against Lampasas on Tuesday night in Brownwood taking their second win in a row.
The Lions won 55-49. Leading scorers for the Lions were Graylon Brown – 14 points, Derek Longoria – 13 points, Chris Cotton – 10 points, Michael Ballejo – 7 points, Greg Jefferson – 7 points, and Marquos Barnes – 4 points.
The Lions improve their record to 5-11 as they go into district play this Friday at home against Abilene Wylie.
The Lady Lions were on the road Tuesday defeating Snyder 64-43. Leading scorers for the Lady Lions included Patricia Wilson – 20 points, Trinity Ansons – 10 points, Sara Byrd – 8 points, Hannah Mask – 7 points, Kelsey Gober – 7 points, Mallorie Maxwell – 4 points, Amanda Gober – 4 points, and Sydnie Darden – 4 points.
The Lady Lions improve their record to 15-7 overall and 2-0 in district 2-3A as they look to face Abilene Wylie on Friday.
