The Brownwood Lady Lions had a strong win Friday night at Warren Gym against Breckenridge securing them 2nd place in District 2-3A. This takes the Lady Lions to an overall season record of 20-9 and 7-2 in district play. The final game score was 65-49.
Scorers included Patricia Wilson 24 points, Kelsey Gober 17 points, Sydnie Darden 6 points, Hannah Mask 5 points, , Mallorie Maxwell 4 points, and Trinity Ansons 4 points, Sara Byrd 3 points, Amanda Gober 2 points.
The Lions also did well against the Buckaroos winning 68-49. This improves Brownwood record to 10-13 overall and 5-2 in district.
Scorers included Chris Cotton 17 points, Greg Jefferson 13 points, Marquos Barnes 12 points, Michael Ballejo 11 points, Graylon Brown 8 points, and Derek Longoria 5 points.
The teams will head to Graham on Tuesday.
