Friday was a good day for Brownwood varsity basketball teams as they faced Snyder.
The Lions saw a 73-54 victory bringing their district 2-3A record to 4-1 and 9-12 on overall.
Scorers included Graylon Brown – 18 points, Marquos Barnes – 16 points, Greg Jefferson – 12 points, Chris Cotton – 9 points, Derek Longoria – 8 points, Michael Ballejo – 4 points, Christian Lang – 4 points, and Dylan Evans – 2 points.
The Lions will play Abilene Wylie Tuesday.
The Lady Lions had a big 46-29 win over Snyder Friday as well making their record 19-8 on the season and 6-1 in district.
Scorers included Sydnie Darden – 13 points, Sara Byrd – 11 points, Patricia Wilson – 11 points, Trinity Ansons – 8 points, Mallorie Maxwell – 2 points, and Kelsey Gober – 1 point.
The Lady Lions will hit the road and take on Wylie on Tuesday.
