The Brownwood Lions and Lady Lions each won big against Breckenridge in Tuesday night games on the road.
The Lions improved their record to 7-11 overall and 2-0 in district 2-3A play with this 68-43 win over Breckenridge.
Scorers included Greg Jefferson – 16 points, Graylon Brown – 14 points, Derek Longoria – 12 points, Chris Cotton – 8 points, Marquos Barnes – 8 points, Michael Ballejo – 8 points, and Christian Lang – 2 points.
The Lions will face-off against the Graham Steers on Friday night.
The Lady Lions also showed Breckenridge who was boss with a 65-44 win Tuesday improving their record to 16-8 overall and 3-1 in district.
Scorers included Trinity Ansons – 18 points, Patricia Wilson – 15 points, Sydnie Darden – 9 points, Hannah Mask – 8 points, Sara Byrd – 8 points, and Amanda Gober – 7 points.
The Lady Lions will also face Graham on Friday night in Brownwood.
