The Brownwood Lions baseball team dropped their District 2-3A opener Tuesday night at Morris Southall Field as they faced the Abilene Wylie Bulldogs.
Brownwood scored early, but Wylie came from behind in the fifth inning taking the lead and the win with a final score of 5-4.
This takes the Lions to a 10-7-1 overall record and puts them 0-1 in district play. The Lions hit the road on Friday to face Breckenridge in an attempt to secure their first district win of the season.
