Barbara Lee Zagorski, 72, of Brownwood passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.
A Memorial service will be held at Heartland Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Russell Williams officiating.
Barbara was born September 6, 2020 in Brownwood to Wesley Macon and Ona Lee Sansom. She graduated from Tivy High School and attended the Texas Womens University. Barbara worked as an office manager for Ross Company. She married Tommy Zagorski in mid-life uniting two families. Tom traveled for work and often went on trips with his company. Barbara loved to travel with him. They would tour the areas and get to explore many things such as Aircraft carriers, Universal Studios, forests and lovely scenery. She was also close to her mother who lived in Kerrville so she would have Tom take her to visit her mom while he was traveling visiting clients. Tom said he knew she enjoyed fishing when he would come home on Friday and Barbara would have a pick-up backed up to the boat. Barbara was a determined and faithful member of the Faith Baptist Church. Barbara loved her family and really enjoyed their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Tommy Zagorski of Brownwood; son, Richard Cogan of Brownwood; step son, Jimmy Zagorski of Brownwood; step daughters, Glynda Zagorski of San Angelo and Julie Zagorski of Houston; brother, Don Sansom and wife Cherry of Ingram, Texas; 13 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
