The Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers are pleased to announce the selection of their June 2016 Volunteer of the Month. During the July 2016 Meeting of the BRMC Volunteer’s Executive Board, BRMC Volunteer Barbara Green was honored as the June 2016 Volunteer of the Month.
Barbara Green joined the BRMC Volunteer Organization in July of 2015. She currently volunteers in the day surgery/outpatient registration – interview volunteer service area, the intensive care waiting room volunteer service area, and the information desk volunteer service area located at the front entrance of BRMC. In each of the areas in which Barbara serves, she strives to meet the needs of patients, their families, as well as, BRMC staff and visitors to the medical center. Barbara has accumulated over 210 hours of volunteer service at BRMC.
The Volunteer of the Month Award is awarded by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the award receive recognition and lunch at the executive board meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected.The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer and are actively soliciting new members. If you have an interest in volunteering a minimum of 6 to 8 hours per month, BRMC volunteering will meet your needs.
